Dental Veneers

At Edmond Dental Center, one of our primary goals is to help you achieve and maintain excellent dental health. However, Dr. Chandler and his team also understand how important it is to have a beautiful smile. The confidence that a stunning smile brings when you share it with the world is invaluable!

Create the Smile You’ve Always Wanted

One of the tools we can use to help you achieve your dream smile is dental veneers. Using ultra-thin layers of customized porcelain, Dr. Chandler can bond dental veneers directly to your teeth to cover many of the imperfections you don’t like about your smile.

Some of the problems veneers can eliminate are:

  • Irregular gaps between teeth
  • Size or shape discrepancies
  • Chipping or fractures
  • Excessive wear
  • Small misalignment issues
  • Discoloration or staining

Because veneers can change the size, shape, or color of your teeth, they allow you to design your best smile.

Combining Skill and Artistry

Dr. Chandler has the skills and extensive training to deliver the smile you’ve always wanted; however, he understands that designing dream smiles also requires artistry. Your cosmetic dentist in Edmond combines skill and artistry and works closely with you to create your new smile and achieve the best results possible.

The Journey to Your Best Smile

Completing dental veneers typically takes two appointments with Dr. Chandler and about two weeks for a dental lab technician to handcraft your final restorations. During your first appointment, Dr. Chandler prepares your teeth for your new veneers by removing a minimal amount of tooth enamel so the veneer bonds and blends flawlessly with your tooth. He will make temporary veneers for you to wear while the dental lab creates your final restorations.

When they’re finished, you’ll return to Edmond Dental Center to have your final veneers permanently placed, and Dr. Chandler will make any necessary adjustments to your new smile at that time.

Maintaining Your New Smile

You’ll be even happier to know that taking care of your new smile is simple. You can brush and floss your teeth just like you did before. However, you should be sure to brush with a non-abrasive toothpaste that won’t scratch your veneers.

Your veneers can break or chip just like your natural teeth. Cutting hard foods like apples or raw carrots into bite-size pieces will help protect your teeth and your veneers.

Don’t forget to schedule your next cleaning and checkup with Dr. Chandler. He will ensure your veneers are healthy and functioning properly during every routine examination.
